About Our Program

Wrestling is a great sport for physical fitness and self-discipline.The Plymouth Youth Wrestling program builds a foundation of athletes that continue to Plymouth South and Plymouth North High School programs and continue the success they have achieved over the past years.Our goal is not only to teach kids how to wrestle but also to motivate them and give them confidence. We look forward to seeing you on the mat!

Our Coaches

Program Director Christopher Sheridan is an experienced wrestler and has competed at the high school and college levels. Before moving to youth wrestling in 2018 Chris coached at the varsity high school level for 10 years.

Ryan Williams

Coach Williams eats, breaths, and sleeps Badgers Wrestling! Ryan was a successful high school wrestler and is a valuable member of the Plymouth Public School's faculty. Coach Williams is the heart and soul of Plymouth Youth Wrestling.

Vincent Renaut

Coach Renaut is a former All-American High School wrestler and Collegiate Division 3 National Champion. He is quite possibly the best wrestler to ever come out of Plymouth. We are proud and grateful to have him on our coaching staff.

Tom Pena

Coach Pena has over 30 years of wrestling experience both competing and coaching. He is a wealth of knowledge and is a great asset to the program.

Andrew Golden

Coach Golden is a former High School wrestler who has rekindled his passion for the sport coaching his son AJ. Coach Golden brings his enthusiasm, patience, and positive energy to every practice and is always willing to put in the extra effort helping wrestlers of all ages and skill levels.

Robert North

Coach North is a history teacher at PSHS and was an assistant in the South wrestling program for a number of years. Robert is an amazing technical wrestler; when it comes to breaking down moves and instruction there is nobody better! Before his coaching days he excelled in both high school and college wrestling and his lasting passion for the sport is strong to this day. We are lucky to have him as a pillar of our program!
